“Extracanonical” Gospels

The “canon” of the New Testament’s 27 books represents only a fraction of the spiritual literature developed by Jesus’ earliest followers. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were not the only Gospels written.

Mark M. Mattison has been translating many of these “Extracanonical” Gospels from Greek and Egyptian (Coptic) for nearly ten years. During that time, over 22,000 copies of his books on these Gospels have sold worldwide.

Public domain versions of these Gospels are available online at gospels.net, along with photographs of the manuscripts.

See below for a complete list of titles.

Translation:

“… and then see clearly to get the speck out that’s in the eye of your (sister or) brother.” Said Jesus, “If you don’t fast from the world, you won’t find the reign of God. And if you don’t keep the Sabbath a Sabbath, you won’t see the Father.” Said Jesus, “I stood in the middle of the world and appeared to them in the flesh. I didn’t find any of them thirsty. My soul aches for the children of humanity, because they’re blind in their hearts and don’t see.”
